Shakespeare and the Language that Altered the World
OPFT 2025 Apprentice Showcase
Shakespeare and the Language that Shaped a World was written by Kevin G. Coleman, a former Oak Park Festival Theatre company member, and devised and performed by our 2025 Apprentice Class.
This performance brings Shakespeare’s life and works to the stage in an engaging and humorous way. By highlighting key scenes, sonnets, and the context behind his most beloved plays, it honors the lasting influence Shakespeare has had on theater and the world. This unique collage offers fresh perspectives on the plays you’ve enjoyed, inviting audiences of all ages to see them in a new light.

College Acting Workshop
Hosted by Madison Street Theatre
Taught by OPFT Producing Artistic Director Peter G. Andersen, this workshop, aimed at current Acting students/recent graduates, will focus on scene work and technique to level up your craft.
Join us for an intensive weekend workshop designed for eager actors looking to take their skills to the next level. Workshops are held at Madison Street Theatre in Oak Park: 1010 Madison St, Oak Park, IL
