“GOOD” by Rebecca Wahls
OPFT Winter Reading Series
a play / slash / concert (and also a fable) directed by Rebecca Wahls
GOOD is an ensemble-driven reimagining of Bertold Brecht’s The Good Woman of Setzuan for the 21st century, featuring an original pop score by New York City composer Dillon Feldman.
A Woman is given a year to prove that she is Good – or else the Gods will destroy the whole world and start over. When the burden of her promises to help others becomes too much to handle alone, the Woman invents an alter ego, The Girlboss, to clean up the mess.
