PETER G. ANDERSEN
Artistic Director
Peter Andersen is a recent graduate of Carnegie Mellon University’s MFA directing program. He is also a graduate of Emerson College where he obtained his BFA in Acting. Formerly, he was the education manager at Writers Theatre in Glencoe. He has also worked at Steppenwolf Theatre Company as the Education Apprentice and Multicultural Fellow.
Directing projects include: The Kennedy Plays, 21, a rock-musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s As You Like It, The American Myth, At Your Own Risk, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Queer Shakespeare, The Cafe Collections, O/A: The Sophocles Project, As You Like it, Macbeth, Measure for Measure. He has also worked at TimeLine Theatre, Huntington Theatre Company, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Yale Repertory Theatre, Writers Theatre, and American Players Theatre as an assistant director.
As an actor he has performed in several seasons at Shakespeare & Company (Lenox, MA); Actor’s Shakespeare Project (Boston, MA); and Company One (Boston, MA); he has also performed in New York City and Chicago.
RACHEL J JONES
Communications Coordinator
RACHEL J JONES (she/her) is a local Chicago actor/educator with a background in Social Media Management and Content Development. Rachel has experience in creating an individualized social media approach tailored to each brand, including personalized branding guides. She has run social media accounts for the film/production industry, food industry, healthcare industry, education industry, and construction industry across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, and LinkedIn. For Oak Park Festival Theatre, Rachel manages all digital communications, such as weekly newsletters or social platforms. Rachel also handles minimal graphic design for OPFT when needed. KATHRYN KRAUSE
Business Manager
Kathryn Krause is a Project Manager/Operations Leader with a decade of experience in increasing revenue, leading teams, and data-driven process improvements. Kathryn has a BA in Drama at Trinity University and has trained in improv comedy and sketch comedy writing at both Second City and iO Theatre. She is heavily involved in the sketch comedy scene in Chicago and regularly acts, writes, directs, and produces shows with her sketch group, Supper Club.
Kathryn lives in Chicago with her husband and 50+ plants.
MARY LIMING
Box Office Manager
Mary began her career with Festival Theatre in 1990 as Administrative Assistant to then Managing Director, Sue Levine-Kelly, and Box Office Manager for the 1990 production of Falstaff. She returned as Box Office Manager in 1992 for Dr. Faustus and has been here ever since. Because of her longevity in this position, she has become an archivist/historian for the company.
