Like to cook? Whip up your best dish and join us for our Annual Company Picnic! Meet the professional actors, directors, and designers for both of our summer shows, Board Members, Staff, Interns, and Artistic Associates.
Season 2017 Annual Summer Picnic will be Saturday, June 8, 2017 from 5:30-7pm. Volunteers have the opportunity to stay to see that evenings production of MACBETH as a guest of OPFT.
Some of the most fun you can have all summer! Interact with the audience and raise money for a great cause! Help sell concessions pre-show and during intermission. Opportunity to watch performances while volunteering.
Strike: Nothing is more satisfying than demolition! Each year, the Sunday after our last summer show closes, we strike our summer set and erase our presence from beautiful Austin Gardens. Help us break it all down to the ground! (No experience with tools necessary.)
This year Strike will take place on September 3, 2017 beginning at 10am.
We are looking for individuals with desire, vision, skills and time to devote to the development of our company. Our Board works to drive the direction of our fiscal and organizational planning. By assisting with community outreach, donor stewardship, and network building, you would help OPFT advance our mission within the Oak Park River Forest and Chicago arts community. If you are interested in becoming a Board Member, please contact our Managing Director at Jhenai@oakparkfestival.com
