Early Sunday morning we began converting the set to serve Henry V, as directed by Jeff Award winner Kevin Theis. Dennis Grimes continues Hal’s journey to Henry V, “The mirror of all Christian kings.” Off he goes to France to claim the French crown. Joining his band will be old Boar’s Head cronies Bardolph (Aaron Christiansen), Pistol (Wm Bullion), and Falstaff’s Boy (11 year old Miranda Theis). Jack Hickey leaves Falstaff behind and becomes the Welsh captain, Fleuellen, part of the cast of 25 extraordinary actors.
The Oak Park Recorder Society, so beautiful at Falstaff’s Feast, will perform before performances July 23 and 30 and August 6 and 13.
