Classics Connections – Shakespeare: Scenes, Sonnets and Songs

Oak Park Festival Theatre is pleased to continue their successful touring show into the 2012-13 season. Classics Connections – Shakespeare: Scenes, Sonnets and Songs will visit Oak Park, River Forest, suburban and metropolitan Chicagoland area schools, and organizations and groups, bringing Shakespeare to a wide range of audiences. Libraries, colleges, senior residences, and special group events will want to bring the Bard to their site with this witty and lively presentation. Directed by Kevin Theis, the forty minute show will feature scenes, sonnets and songs from such favorite titles as Taming of the ShrewRomeo and Juliet and The Comedy of Errors. The production will foster a new appreciation for the works of the world’s most enduring playwright.
