“The Truth Is Rarely Pure & Never Simple” – Oscar Wilde’s comic masterpiece is a sly, stylish and sparking satire of public appearance and private identity.  Jack and Algernon, two wily and witty bachelors well versed in clever ruses to escape social responsibilities, at last fall in love with the delicious, well-doweried damsels, Gwendolyn and Cecily.  Their happiness depends on convincing society (in the person of Gwendolyn’s redoubt- able dowager mother) that once and for all they embrace the importance of being Earnest.

THE CAST: Belinda Bremner* (Lady Bracknell), John Crosthwaite (Jack), Brooke Hebert (Cecily), Elise Kauzlaric (Gwendolyn), Jackson McLaughlin (Merriman), Mark Richard* (Chasuble), Brian Rooney (Lane), Jude Willis (Algernon), Lynda Shadrake(Prism), Rosalind Hurwitz (Prism & Lady Bracknell Understudy)
