Closing on Saturday, July 18
There are only a few performances left and we close this production on Saturday. Set in the Deep South, To Kill A Mockingbird tells the story of racial injustice enveloping a small-town community. A story as relevant today as the day it was published in the early ‘60s. When we decided last year to produce Mockingbird, we never thought that current events in communities across the country would make this story set in the 30’s as if it were taken from the headlines of today’s papers. We also never thought that Harper Lee’s second book would be published during our run. Lee’s new book, Go Set a Watchman, is released today. If it is on your reading list, then you will certainly want to see our production in preparation.
Also, in case you missed, our production has been Jeff Recommended. Here is a link to their recommendation.
